Acted as project manager and lead programmer for a special-needs, educational software title. This two-part CD ROM set teaches basic math skills: counting, sequencing, addition, and subtraction. The title features extensive score tracking, teacher options, custom music, animated characters and reward scenes. The application can also be used via touch screen. The application was developed using Adobe AIR and was delivered to both Windows and Mac platforms. The project team included a team of instructional designers, art director, designers, animator, programmers, and quality assurance testers. Development time was approximately ten months.
Title was named as 2010 Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence recipient.
